Public decision register
Decisions & next steps
A public record of the direction, with the unfinished work left visible. Selected design does not mean deployed consensus.
The current register#
| Area | Selected direction | Still to specify |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduled issuance | 2% a year from launch | Issuance base, rounding and annual arithmetic. |
| Post rewards | Historical quadratic claim curve | Content constant and author / curator split. |
| Positive voting mana | Seven days of capacity; spend any available amount | Stake changes, delegation, vote edits and dust. |
| Curation | Equal eligible contribution, equal share | Eligibility cutoff and rounding. |
| Settlement | Hive-style rolling reward fund | Genesis claim history and final inherited constants. |
| Downvotes | Retain Hive’s reward-dispute mechanic | Integration with the revised positive mana budget. |
| Power-down | Four weeks | Installments and governance during withdrawal. |
| Native-to-stable conversion | 1% initial conversion premium | Collateral, oracle, settlement and fee arithmetic. |
| Stablecoin debt | 10% of backing native asset market cap | Ratio accounting, mint throttles and stress response. |
| Treasury | Start empty; fund within scheduled issuance | Budget share and spending governance. |
| Initial distribution | No inherited whale airdrop or legacy treasury endowment | Initial supply and acquisition mechanism remain undecided. |
The path to a testnet#
- Design and modeling · current phaseSpecify monetary accounting, genesis, curve scale, voting budgets and abuse cases.
- Consensus implementation · nextPublish the protocol changes with reproducible builds and tests for every rule.
- Public testnet · plannedRelease chain configuration and endpoints. Test replay, wallets, witnesses, conversions and adversarial voting.
- Launch review · laterEvaluate supply distribution, security, reward concentration and operational readiness before setting a launch date.
These are dependency gates, not calendar promises. There is no launch date or approved initial distribution on this site.
What changed in this edition#
21 October 2026. The public hub now reflects four-week exits, fixed 2% scheduled issuance, quadratic claims, flexible weekly mana, equal curation and rolling settlement. It explicitly retains downvotes and explains the long-tail creator-economy rationale.
This edition supersedes the older 104-week exit and detailed treasury scheme on the original landing page. Working-group signatures express support for exploring Hybla, not ratification of every design revision.
